There are a lot of new and exciting additions coming to the game in the Legacy update, one of those being the Ship Droid mini-game. Ever wonder what your droid does on the ship while his master is away? Well here is your chance to find out. Morning all! Well it is good to see that our guild is growing in size, though some of that growth are our alts lol. I have begun recruiting as I run into people who I join up with to help out with missions and after I do some wz's. Make sure you take a sec to look at those that you group with to see if they are currently in a guild. If not, drop em a tell and let them know about our guild. I am gonna try to get my main character up to at least 40 in the next few weeks to help me get into groups with higher lvl players. I think once we get more people from different area's of the world, we will be better able to run ops and fp's on a regularly scheduled weekly event.

There were a few of us that were part of the early access, and as a result have qualified for the Founders Medal. I received my email yesterday letting me know that I hit the first official payment to TOR, and have been awarded this honorific title. Wish it gave you a stat bonus like the similar title in SWG did :-). Still pretty cool and I will be sporting my title until I receive the "Master of the Troopers" one lol.

There's a few of us slowly reaching 50. It's getting to be a race to see who's going to be first in the guild to get there. We've been grinding away and playing the game. Hopefully in the coming days we'll have some new pics and videos for you to see.

The Rebel Squadrons would like to publicly thank the members of the guild < Goon Squad > for all their help. Many of their members and ours ran instances and various quests together over the past few weeks and it was a great time had by all. We look forward to a continuing friendship with our guilds.

We hope that funny will help. Sorry for the lack of updates, we've really been just too busy playing the game. It's so engrossing that we honestly forget we have a website to run.

A few of us have already run some of the flashpoints together and had lots of fun, we're hoping to get some more runs in soon. Log in and join us!

The game launched just under an hour ago and it looks like the server that the RS is on, Keller's Void, is one of the most popular. Server is at full capacity, and when I logged in just now, there was a que, and I was #57, but it dropped to 43 in like 10 seconds, so I wouldn't be too worried about that. We should have a healthy number of guilds to do battle with and ally with, and should be lots of fun.

Servers went down earlier today to prepare for official launch tomorrow. Anyone with a CD key can still play, which leaves me out. My shipment won't be here until late tomorrow. Which is fine, I need a break. However, that may not leave out the rest of the guild, contact any of the names you see on the left for an invite into the guild. We're all on at random times so chances are good you'll catch one of us. Good luck and happy hunting!

Your first character you create on that server will be auto invited to join the guild, provided you were on the swtor roster at the time. So I look forward to seeing you all in game!

I don't think I've seen a better Star Wars: The Old Republic video yet.

I know it's the sith, and it's not one of their better progression trailers, but it's still kinda cool.

SO as some (or all) of you know the powers of TOR have moved early access up to start in 6 days on 12/13. I am super excited for this. Think I am going though withdrawal or something. Make sure you delete your old client (for Beta testers) UNLESS you tested the last weekend of November. Then you can just login and let the client update. Got an invite for more beta testing this weekend. I work Saturday, but am off Sunday so I should still get some good time in again. I will also be able to screenshot the heck out of the game too, so be looking for a ton more pics in the gallery. If I remember correctly, we keep the characters from the previous build. Hope that is still true, cause I would like to get high enough to get in some advanced skill class work and get into a ship as well.

That's right folks, the NDA for the beta testers is lifted. So as soon as we can get some in game shots, we'll bring them to you. With luck, we'll be able to put together a video too.

I also had a chance to run around in-game this past weekend as well. Overall it was a really good experience, and I hope I can get a go at it again with the next test. The server I started out on was low in population, but grew pretty quickly.

Had a fantastic time in the game. Spotted a few issues here and there, some concerned my play style, others actual bugs. Overall it was a great server stress test. I found no lag what so ever on the busiest server. The population meter bar went past the screen, so there were a few of us there to say the least. Just found out some of us might be called back for more testing, and with luck the NDA will be gone so we can talk about it and maybe post screen shots for you. Either way, December 20th can't come fast enough!

I also just got the weekend beta test invite. I'll be looking at all sorts of game play mechanics and seeing (if possible) what guild tools will be available. Once in there, hopefully, without breaking the NDA mind you, I can start setting up the website here for what will come.

EDIT: I was unable to get a guild running (We won't have this problem upon release), so I was unable to see what tools were available. I can't say anything more, due to the NDA, but I will say this. It is my opinion this game makes Star Wars Galaxies look like the text based adventure ZORK.

I received an invite to beta testing this weekend. This will actually be a great thing since my new position gives me off almost every weekend, this upcoming weekend being one of them. I have pre-ordered the game so I should have early access around December 15th (I purchased and registered my code in the wee hours of the morning the game was released), but this dry run will give me some much needed additional scouting prior to game launch. While I can't discuss the actual game itself, I am planning on testing out the economic portion of the game to better prepare.

News has been officially released regarding early access to the game:

One of the benefits to pre-ordering Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ is that you will gain Early Game Access before launch on December 20th. This is a chance to start your epic Star Wars saga early, as you’ll be able to create and play your character ahead of the official live game launch.

Many of you have been wondering how long Early Game Access will last, and we are now happy to announce that depending on when you redeem your Pre-Order Code, you will gain Early Game Access up to five days before the official game launch date.

Early Game Access is staggered over five days to ensure a quality experience for players at launch. Staggering access aids server stability and a gradual increase in player population through the game. Early Game Access will be granted according to when your Pre-Order Code is redeemed at the Code Redemption Center.

And as Josh stated earlier, we are a go for launch as a guild as well!

At this point in time, the RSPA:ToR guild is green-lit for deployment when release comes. We have our allies and adversaries set as well as most of our members with pre-order codes already submitted.
